Crown Mines Golf Club – Gauteng, South Africa

Situated next to Soccer City, Crown Mines is one of Johannesburg’s oldest and most revered golf courses. The course is characterized by water features, which makes it a challenging and aesthetically pleasing proposition. iProp (Pty) Ltd, owners of the property on which the course is situated, has recently contracted MWG to manage the entire golf operations.

Lakowe Lakes Golf & Country Estate, Lagos, Nigeria

This wonderful new development is situated 30km outside Lagos, and is the first of its kind in Nigeria. MWG has been engaged to set up and manage the golf operations, and in estate management will be included in a very comprehensive management package. The golf course is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2012 and property sales have already commenced.

Irene Country Club – Gauteng, South Africa

Irene Country Club is one of Pretoria’s most prestigious and esteemed country clubs which is celebrating its centenary in 2011. This traditional parkland gem is blessed with lovely old trees a major river that carves its was through the course attracting an abundance of birdlife. MWG has been contracted to operate and manage the entire country club facility that includes, tennis, bowls, squash, cricket and of course golf all sharing a newly built clubhouse.

Nchanga Golf Club Chingola, Zambia

MW Design will upgrade this magnificent golf course which will host the Zambian Open in October 2011, which is part of the main Sunshine Tour. MW Design has been appointed to reshape and improve the playing surfaces of the greens surrounds and bunkering and to install a complete irrigation system. This Nchanga Golf Course was voted 14th best in the world outside of the USA in 1979 (Golf Digest USA). The upgrade of the existing clubhouse and operational management of the golf club forms part of the scope of work.
